Jump on an easy 3hr flight from most European cities and a short while later, land in what may look like a scene straight out of Tatooine with the bustling alley ways of the ancient medina of Marrakech all but consumed by various types of transportation from the four legged to the hundreds of 50cc mopeds to dodge. This incredible city is your first destination to kick off The Mad Max Moroccan Adventure taking you across the snow-capped High Atlas Mountains to party it up in the Sahara Desert and sand-board on Erg Chegaga Dunes and then to surf some of Africa's best waves.

Marrakech

ONE

Depending on time of arrival, you will be met by your driver/guide at Marrakech international airport.Transfer into the ancient medina of Marrakech where you will make your way through the winding bustling alley ways of the ancient part of the city of Marrakech to your Riad for the next two nights.Spend the afternoon exploring the Medina and the souks when the markets come alive and Jemma Elfna Square is the place to be.

Get out and explore the city of Marrakech from the famous home of designer Yves Saint Laurent Majorelle Gardens, Musuem of Marrakech, Dar el Bacha.
Spend the night out in Marrakech.

Marrakech - Zagora

THREE

Marrakech - Zagora
After breakfast in Marrakech, depart early for Zagora in a convoy of 4x4s over the snow capped high Atlas Mountains reaching the Tiz n Tichka pass with incredible views over the winding roads down towards Marrakech.Arrive in Ait Ben Haddou for lunch and a tour of the stunning Kasbah where films such as the Gladiator were filmed.After lunch head through Ouarzazate the Hollywood of Morocco and over the Anti Atlas Mountains before traveling through the Draa Valley. Stop for mint tea in the date palm groves.Late afternoon arrival in Zagora, your hotel is located in the middle of the palm groves. Spend the afternoon exploring the local villages or relaxing by the pool with a beer underneath the palm trees.

Zagora - Erg Chegaga Dunes

FOUR

After a slow morning in Zagora, depart for the Erg Chegaga Dunes for the night in your desert camp.Heading along the desert road, stop for lunch in Mhamid el Ghizlaine the last village on the road to the desert for lunch and a quick swim before heading off road in your 4x4s towards the dunes of Erg Chegaga.
If you are lucky enough you will stop and visit a nomadic family residing in the harsh conditions of the desert for a glass of refreshing mint tea.Arrival at your camp, whilst dinner is being prepared, grab a sandboard and climb up the sand dunes and enjoy the most amazing sunset.
Once the stars are out head back down to camp for a night of traditional food and live Saharan singing and drums around a fire.

Erg Chegaga - Taghazout

FIVE

Waking up in time for sunrise, your camels will be waiting outside your tents to take you up into the dunes for a spectacular sunrise.

After breakfast at camp, depart for Taghazout a seaside surf village on the Atlantic Coast.

Departing the desert, head across the plains of lake Eriki and slowly watch the scenery turn from arid Desert to lush green hills looking over the ocean. Arriving at your destination for the night, set out and explore the little bustling surf village, eat local fish cooked right on the side of the alleyways in front of the beach. Chill on the beach for the evening and head up for drinks to finish the night.

Taghazout - Essaouira

SIX

After a chill morning in Taghazout, drive up the Atlantic Coast towards the Portuguese town of Essaouira, via the surf village Immsaoune for lunch on the beach.On Arrival in Essaouira, this city and its ancient walled alley ways lend itsself to being explored for hours with bars, cafes and shops dotted throughout.Stroll along the beach, that is famed for camel riding and wind surfing.

Essaouira - Marrakech

SEVEN

One last chill day to soak in your Moroccan experience before heading back to Marrakech.Explore the city, go wind surfing or horse riding.
